Ihedioha knocks Uzodinma, Claims he wanted Nnamdi Kanu to stay Locked Up

Former Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha has come out guns blazing against the man that replaced him, Hope Uzodinma.

Ihedioha whose governorship term ran between 29 May 2019 – 15 January 2020, was replaced after the Supreme Court ruled that APC’s Uzodinma was the rightful winner.

Ihedioha would go on to be the first South East governor with the shortest term in office. And since then, the rift between him and Uzodinma has continued to deepen.

And on Sunday, Ihedioha made it clear that the issues between them will not be slowing down anytime soon.

Ihedioha posted an open letter to Uzodinma, he titled ‘When Silence is not Golden,’ on his official Twitter handle.

Ihedioha denied telling Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami not to honour the Appeal Court’s order to release Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB). This he said to quash the purported voice note circulating on social media, claiming he doesn’t want Kanu released so that he will not disrupt next year’s polls.

He added that it is Hope Uzodinma who is afraid of Kanu being loose.
