CNN dubs Peter Obi Nigeria’s most Popular Presidential Candidate in live Interview[VIDEO]

The American cable television channel, CNN has dubbed Labour Party’s Peter Obi Nigeria’s most popular presidential candidate. When the former Anambra state Governor joined the race some few months ago, many saw him as a mere pushover. However, his popularity has since grown exponentially, which is manifest in the organic support he has amassed in the form of the movement called Obidients. In the months following his declaration, the two major political parties, APC and the PDP have gone from fighting themselves to focusing solely on Obi. The stalwarts of the two behemoth parties like Reno Omokri(PDP), Femi Fani-Kayode(APC), Festus Keyamo(APC), amongst others, have gone from threatening Obidients to outright defamation of Peter Obi’s personage. They had initially dismissed his chances under the guise that his support is only online and that he lacks structures the other candidates like Atiku Abubakar and Bola Ahmed Tinubu seem to have. And during the week, an online poll conducted by NOI and ANAP showed that if the presidential election was to be conducted today, Obi will triumph over APC, PDP and NNPP’S Rabiu Kwankwaso, as shown below:Indeed, CNN’s claims are not unfounded. In the weekends gone by, the Obidient Movement has successfully held campaign rallies tagged #1millionMarch4Obi across the different Nigerian cities.
