MKO Abiola’s first Son, Kola Declared winner of PRP Presidential primaries

The son of late MKO Abiola, Kola Abiola has won the presidential primary elections of the Peoples Redemption Party(PRP).

Kola who is the first son of the late MKO Abiola, defeated Usman Bugaje, Patience Key, and Gboluga Mosugum, a retired colonel, to pick the PRP ticket.

Abiola secured 2,097 votes, while Bugaje came second with 813 votes, Key had 329 and Mosugu polled 263 votes.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that a total of 3,625 delegates were accredited with 3,519 valid votes and 141 invalid votes.
