The European Union has impressed on the Federal Government of Nigeria to ensure the killers of Deborah Yakubu face the full wrath of the law.

This was contained in a statement issued on the Union’s official Twitter handle on Wednesday, a week after the gruesome murder of Deborah, who was a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto.

“Still saddened by last week’s gruesome murder of Deborah Samuel in Sokoto.

“Everything must be done to ensure the murderers are not only swiftly brought to justice, but that justice is done. Reoccurrence must also be prevented,” a statement on Twitter reads.

The Nigerian police are claiming the killers of Deborah Yakubu are not Nigerians but Nigeriens.
