Twitter board is said to be willing to accept the $43 billion dollars being offered by US billionaire and world’s richest man Elon Musk.

Weeks earlier, the owner of the electric vehicle giant Tesla had made an initial offer to the board but was turned down.

The new bid however seems to have worked the magic as the board is currently meeting to consider the offer.

Elon Musk who weeks ago polled his Twitter followers as to whether Twitter was protecting freedom of speech or stifling it had people overwhelmingly voting for the later.

There’s has being growing support of the planned takeover by US conservatives as they have alleged an increasing bias against conservative voices by the social media giant.

Several conservatives and right leaning news organizations have been kicked off or suspended by Twitter including Donald Trump and The Babylon Bee.

Liberals are however not so welcoming to the move and have already started a leaving Twitter hashtag as at the time of filing this report.
