Manchester United Legend, Evra visits Oshodi [VIDEO]

Former Manchester United left back, Patrice Evra paid a visit to Oshodi on Saturday to support the Chess in Slums programme.

The 40-year-old tweeted about his visit to Nigeria, saying “Checkmate ♟ Evra bus 🚌 stop #Nigeria ! 🔥🇳🇬 I’m soo impressed by those genius kids.”

The Chess in Slums initiative is a brainchild of Tunde Onakoya, who hopes to inspire children and young people in Slums and ghettos to be better than what they currently are.

Chess in Slums had earlier hinted a Manchester United and French defender was expected.

Evra shared a video from his visit to announce it.
