Ronaldo’s pay will be slashed by 25% if United fails to Qualify for UCL

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to have his wages slashed if Manchester United fails to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

The Portuguese forward has found life difficult since returning to the club where he attained stardom.

The Red Devils star currently earns £480,000 a week at Old Trafford – which works out as nearly £25million a year. If they fail to qualify, then his wages could fall to £360,000.

United currently sit seventh in the Premier League table, two points behind fourth place West Ham.

United have West Ham, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur all gunning for the top four spot.
