The Kano State Government has stated that N800m was spent in renovating primary and secondary schools last year.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Education, Alhaji Sanusi Sa’idu-Kiru, at a press event in the state.
He noted that Magon Secondary School and Rimin-gata Secondary School that were dilapidated were some of the schools renovated.
He said the projects were part of the State Government’s efforts to reposition education in the state.
