Over 500 Muslims attend Christmas service in Kaduna Church

Muslims numbering more than five hundred have turned up for a Christmas worship service in a church in Kaduna.

The entourage holding a picture of Jesus, Isa as he’s called in Islam.

This was done as part of efforts to promote religious tolerance between the two Abrahamic religions of Christianity and Islam.

While receiving them in Sabon Tasha, Kaduna, the General Overseer of the Christ Evangelical and Life lntervention Ministry, Pastor Yohanna Buru commended the group for sacrificing their time and resources to attend the Christmas service.

He cleric said they defied the tough economic situation to come from different places to celebrate with their Christian friends.

Pastor Buru who said his Church has been welcoming Muslims for Christmas celebrations, noted that the gesture would help in fostering understanding, love and religious tolerance among the followers of the two religions.
