Former Atletico Madrid forward, Sergio Aguero has retired from football entirely at the early age of 33.

The Argentine forward went off against Alaves in Barcelona’s 1:1 draw in La Liga, after he contested for the ball.

He was immediately replaced by Coutinho and immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment, where he was diagnosed of arrhythmia.

What Is arrhythmia? It’s also called “Irregular Heartbeat.”
It’s a disorder that affects the normal way the heart beats making the heart, beat either too fast (Tachycardia) or too slow (bradycardia) or irregular.

It can affect the amount of blood pumped by the heart. Arrhythmia is caused by a history of heart diseases like high BP, past heart attack, etc.

But in Aguero’s case, there was no history of heart disease before yesterday, so what else can cause it?

– It can be inherited
– Excessive alcohol
– Stress

Sergio Aguero was signed on free from Man City last summer and since then it hasn’t been a smooth ride.
