About 29 students have been expelled from Kwara State Polytechnic for charges of examination malpractice.
The authorities at the institution said the act contravened the matriculation oath they took before starting school.
The students were sent packing after a fact-finding committee looked into the case and found them wanting.
According to a statement issued by the institution, the students are to vacate the campus and forfeit all connections to the school forthwith.
It read, “Your expulsion is in line with the provision of the reviewed student’s information and regulations handbook 2019.
You, therefore, cease to be students of the Polytechnic and you should hand over all Polytechnic’s properties in your possession to your Head of Department, or the appropriate Polytechnic authorities.”
