#AnambraDecides: APGA’s Soludo Makes First Comment After Beating Ozigbo, Uba In Aguata

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the Anambra State governorship, Charles Soludo, on Sunday evening made his first comment as results are trickling in from the Polls.

So far, Soludo is coasting to victory, with a wide margin win in seven local government areas.

The APGA candidate also defeated Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to win Aguata LGA.

He polled 9,136 votes in Aguata LGA to defeat Uba and Ozigbo.

Uba secured 4,773 votes; Ozigbo got 3,798 votes. The three main candidates in the governorship poll are from Aguata.

Sunday evening, Soludo made a post on Instagram with a photo of him monitoring results.

“A cool Sunday evening. It is indeed the Lord’s day and we must first thank God almighty for his mercy.

“Indeed, ‘many are the afflictions of the Righteous, but the Lord delivereth him from them all’. Good evening my people”, the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor wrote.
