President Muhammadu Buhari has labelled the recent killing of 69 people in neighbouring Niger Republic as worrying.
The former Head of State assured the Nigerien people that his government will continue to assist them in the war against the insurgents.
Speaking through his Aide, Garba Shehu, the president expressed the need for all African leaders to arise and take responsibility.
“We (African leaders) must leave no stone unturned to frustrate and defeat these common enemies of humanity.
“Terrorism shouldn’t be treated as a localised security threat, because it’s spreading its tentacles far beyond our imaginations.”
