Chelsea showed their title credentials on Saturday afternoon when they travelled to Tyneside to take on Newcastle United.
It took Thomas Tuchel’s men until the 65th minute to make their dominance show, haven pegged the Geordies back all game and it was right back, Reece James who got them going.
The English man fired a screamer into the back of the net, and barely 15 minutes later, scored his second of the match and his fourth for the season.
Jorginho the converted from the spot to make it 0:3, as Chelsea ran out victorious.
Elsewhere, Liverpool gave up a 2:0 lead to draw Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield, while Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City lost at home to Crystal Palace.
The men from Stamford Bridge now lead the Premier League charts with 3 points going into the 11th game of the season, and they look solid too. They next host Burnley who won their first game of the season by beating new boys Brentford 3:1, in what will be another walk in the park for the Premier League big spenders.
