The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has denied carrying out a search operation at the the Maitama, Abuja home of a Judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Mary Odili on Friday.
This was contained in a statement issued on Friday by Spokesman for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren.
Uwujaren said the rebuttal became necessary following claims in sections of the media that operatives of the anti-graft agency stormed Odili’s residence to execute a search.
He said if there was any such operation on the home of the Supreme Court judge as claimed by the media, it was not executed by the EFCC.
He also urged the public to discontinue the spread of such report.
Below is the full statement by the EFCC.
