A college of the University of Cambridge, England known as Jesus College has returned a Benin artefact, the Okokur they have had in their possession for quite some time.
According to the Punch, Jesus College, Cambridge returned the looted artefact, the Okokur to the palace of the Oba of Benin, where it was stolen in 1897.
The Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II was on hand to receive the artefact from the Cambridge delegates at his Palace in Edo.

Jesus College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college’s full name is The College of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint John the Evangelist and the glorious Virgin Saint Radegund, near Cambridge. Its common name comes from the name of its chapel, Jesus Chapel.
