British marque, Jaguar Land Rover has launched its flagship SUV, the Range Rover.
The new luxury Range Rover is the first update since 2010, and in car years, that is a generation.
The new Range Rover is set to go on sale by February 2022 and when it does, it will be competing with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLS, the BMW 7 Series in the luxury seven seat category. While the autobiography model will square off against the Aston Martin DBX, Bentley Benteyga and the Rolls Royce Cullinan in the ultra-luxury segment.
New for 2022 is a whole new architecture from the ground up, with slimmer LED headlights and a hole new vertical rear lights what are hidden under a black line until the ignition is turned on.
The interior has also been completely refreshed, with a giant 13′ infotainment display mounted on the dash, which replaces the dual screen set-up that was found in the outgoing model.
As earlier mentioned, this is the first time the Range Rover will be offering a third roll of seats, and as such, can now sit seven.
Being a big SUV, the automaker has also improved the turning circle, which means it can now turn at more tighter spaces, even better than a car as small as a Mini Cooper. Also new is the electrically operated doors.
The base price of the Range Rover when it goes on sale will be £94, 000 and can rise to as high as £150, 000 for the top of the range version.
Expect to see them on Nigerian roads very soon.
