Before half time, in-form forward, Mohammed Salah scored a quick brace to put Liverpool 4 up against United, with the home side’s defence all over the place.
Ronaldo was lucky not to get sent off after a double lounge on substitute, Jones who replaced injured James Milner, as the Portuguese only saw yellow.
By half-time, half of Manchester United fans had exited the stadium.
