With everyone else haven played, the Gooners were hoping to thwart Patrick Viera rebuilding of Crystal Palace, as Aubameyang scored quite early.

Benteke puts one behind Ramsdale.

Christian Benteke, however, drew the men from Selhurst Park leveled, just after the break. With no Zaha in the side, Palace did well to keep Arsenal at bay.

Edward continues to settle in the Premier League.

But a late drama ensued, as Palace’s Edward thought he has won it for the men in Red and Blue, only for a returning Lacazette to score a 95th equaliser to undo their hard work.

Lacazette salvaged a point for his side.

In a fairly even game, Vieira can be proud of his side knowing that his tactics are beginning to make a mark on them, but for Arteta, he will know there is still alot that needs to he done if they are to get closer to the business end of the table come May.

Viera could not believe his side conceded at the death.

Arsenal next host Aston Villa, while Palace play host to Newcastle United on October 22nd.
