Two students of the Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa State have been abducted by unknown gunmen, who were suspected to be kidnappers.
The incident happened on Saturday night when the hoodlums invaded the university’s host community.
According to reports, the assailants, armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the area, shooting sporadically before whisking the victims away to an unknown destination.
One Hon. Yahaya Adams, was also abducted by the gunmen from the host community during the attack.
The police image maker in the state, Ramhan Nansel have confirmed the incident.
He said the command has contacted the school management and has commenced investigation into the attack.
He said, “We have met with the institution’s public relations officer, PRO and investigation is currently ongoing”.
