Leicester humble Manchester United as Ronaldo fires Blanks

A well coordinated Leicester City side ended Manchester United’s 29-game unbeaten away run to an end at the King Power on Saturday afternoon.

With star man, Cristiano Ronaldo starting up top, after scoring a hatrick during his outing with Portugal last week, United hoped to turn their abysmal form around, but it wasn’t the case.

Youngster, Mason Greenwood gave the visitors the lead before Youri Tielemans brought Brendan Rogers’ men level, with a beautiful chip over De Gea.

Defender Soyuncu gave Leicester City the lead in the second half from a corner, before the returning Rashford gave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side a glimmer of hope as the game slipped away from them.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is feeling the heat.

Jamie Vardy gave Leicester the lead again to make it 3:2, with substitute, Patson Daka scoring a tap in stoppage time to put Manchester United out of the top four.

The men from Old Trafford now take on Atalanta in the Champions League, before they travel to bitter rivals, Liverpool for what promises to be another difficult game for the Red Devils.
