The Nigerian Army has stated it will not be going after Sheikh Ahmad Gumi because he has done nothing wrong.

This was made known during General Lucky Irabor’s ministerial briefing in Abuja on Thursday.

The Chief of Defence Staff said the Islamic Cleric is doing his part in the fight against terrorism.

Gumi who recently said half of the 2022 budget should be allocated for providing the needs of the terrorists, instead of fighting them.

The military almost instantly pounces on anyone who speaks against bandits and of the possibility of the military being compromised.
