NFF Owing Gernot Rohr 8 months Salary

Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr has not been paid for 8 months, a top source has confirmed.

The German who has in the past managed Niger and Burkina Faso, has been at the helm of Nigerian football since 2016.

Nigeria face Central African Republic in a 2022 World Cup qualifiers this week.

Gernot Rohr is being owed for 8 months.

Rohr who is on a monthly salary of $45, 000 directly pays the team’s video analyst, chief scout as well as fitness & goalkeeper trainers from his salary.

Some of the conditions given to Rohr by the NFF are the mandates to win the 2021 AFCON, which has now been moved to 2022, receive his salary in Naira and reside in Nigeria, and also qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
