With no specific reason, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled the conduct of its nationwide state congresses earlier slated for October 2.
The new date for the conduct of the congresses is now October 16th.
The congresses are conducted to elect party executives at the state levels.
This was contained in a brief statement issued on Wednesday evening by the National Secretary, APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe.
According to the statement, the public will be informed about the updated timetable/schedule of activities and guidelines for the conduct of the state congresses.
The statement reads “NOTICE: The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled nationwide State Congresses to Saturday, 16th October, 2021.
“An updated timetable/schedule of activities and guidelines for the conduct of the State Congresses will be released to the public in due course.”
