Ronaldo Scores again as United leave it Late to Beat West Ham

Manchester United got back to winning ways after their abysmal Champions League outing in Switzerland last time out.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his men travelled to West Ham to take on David Moyes’ side who were missing their star man, Antonio through suspension.

West Ham took the lead via Benrahma in the 30th minute, but it took only five minutes for Cristiano Ronaldo to equalise, scoring his fourth for the Club since his surprise return to Old Trafford.

Both sides had chances to win it but fluffed their lines until late on when 73rd minute substitute, Jesse Lingard blasted a fine effort into the West Ham, beating Fabianski.

West Ham had the opportunity to get a point from the encounter when Luke Shaw handled Yarmolenko’s effort in the box.

Substitute, Mark Noble stepped up for the kick only for his efforts to be saved by De Gea as the game ended 1:2. United now sit behind Liverpool, with only goal difference separating them.
