Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi joined the list of Southern Governors who have signed the anti-open grazing Bill into law.

The Enugu State Governor accented to the new law on Tuesday at the Government House in Enugu, the capital.

The law hopes to regulate the activities of herdsmen in the State and other animal farmers, thereby improving security.
In recent times, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo and Babajide Sanwo-Olu have all signed the open grazing prohibition act into law in their respective States. More Governors in the region are expected to follow suit.
