WORLD CUP QUALIFIER| Iheanacho Scores Twice as Super Eagles Brush Aside Liberia

Nigeria brushed aside Liberia in their first World Cup qualifying game in Lagos in Friday evening.

Two first half goals from Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho were enough to settle the game at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos.

Gernot Rohr fielded an attacking side, with the likes of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Rangers’ Joe Aribo all starting alongside the Premier League duo of Kelechi and Iwobi. The later had hands in the former’s goals.
