To meet the insatiable hunger of fans, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his mononym, Wizkid has agreed to add one extra day to his Made in Lagos Tour of the United Kingdom.
The Afro Pop Star made this known on his Twitter handle.
Made in Lagos which was officially released last year, had to be re-released due to popular demand.
The show dates at London’s O2 Arena will now be on the 28th, 29th of November and 1st of December, after tickets sold out in just over 30 minutes for the first two dates. The O2 Arena has a 20, 000 capacity.
Made in Lagos is the fourth studio album by Nigerian singer and songwriter Wizkid. It was released on 30 October 2020 by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records.
Within one week of release, Made in Lagos broke several African streaming records; it became the first African album to debut on the Spotify Global Album chart, debuting within the top ten. The album surpassed 100 million streams across five platforms nine days after release, a rare milestone for Afro-pop artists.
It features guest appearances from British artists Skepta and Ella Mai, American R&B singer H.E.R., Jamaican artists Projexx and Damian Marley, and Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Tay Iwar, Terri, and Tems.
