The Ondo State brand of the Amotekun Security Network has nabbed three Fulani herders and their cows for going against the anti-open grazing policy.
Recall that Governor Rotimi Akeredolu signed the bill prohibiting open grazing in the State on the 31st.
According to reports, the herders who were arrested together with forty cows were seen around farmlands in Owode, in Akure South Local Government Area.
The Corps Commander, Chief Adetunji Adeleye confirmed the arrest.
“The cows have been impounded, while three herders were apprehended and investigation is still ongoing,” he said
