Former Senator Shehu Sani has fired back at Oduduwa Republic agitators after the group picked out Nnamdi Azikiwe and Obafemi Awolowo as their models.

Sani who formerly represented Kaduna Central during the 8th Assembly was reacting to a tweet by the Group on Monday morning.

The group had said Ahmadu Bello didn’t do anything for the North like Awo and Zik.

The tweet read, “As Great Awolowo and Nnamdi Azikiwe are blessings to the South, Ahmadu Bello is what to the North?
May we not experience North in our life.
The struggle has just begun
ODUDUWA REPUBLIC NOW/BIAFRA NOW.”

To that, Shehu replied, “Awo and Zik were NOT secessionists and can’t be your role models;read your History well. I can help you with the names of your role models.”
