The Biblical story of the prodigal son coming home has again repeated itself, after former Chelsea forward, Romelu Lukaku rejoined the London side.
The Belgian has signed a five year deal that will keep him in North London until he is 33 years.
Lukaku first joined Chelsea as a then 17-year old from Anderlecht before failing to establish himself in the team.
He would later play for Everton and Manchester United before joining Inter Milan where he won the Serie A under Antonio Conte, another former Chelsea man.
Romelu Lukaku is now the most expensive player in football history in terms of combined transfer fees, haven moved 6 times in his career.
Chelsea overcame Villareal yesterday to win the UEFA Super Cup.
