Senate to Restrict JAMB From Admitting Students Under 18 Years

The Nigerian House of Senate has moved to restrict the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) from giving admissions to people under 18 years of age.

According to Senator Akon Eyakenyi, the Chairman of the House Committee on Basic Education, the decision to ban JAMB from doing so has become necessary because age is very important in one’s learning ability.
