Oduduwa Republic has stated that for the forthcoming sallah celebrations, the Imam in Yorubaland will decide when to hold it, not the Sultan.
The Pro-Oduduwa Republic group made this known on its Twitter handle on Monday morning.
The group referred to the paramount Ruler of the Sokoto Caliphate, HRM Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, who I considered the spiritual leader of Nigerian Muslims as a terrorist.
The tweet read, “SALLAH: Our Imam in Yoruba land will tell us when we are to celebrate Sallah not Sultan awon terrorist.
ODUDUWA REPUBLIC NOW/BIAFRA NOW.”
The former Brigadier General turned Sultan announced yesterday that 20th July has been set aside for this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
Some Nigerians feel the Yoruba people who are the largest ethnicity in the South to have accepted Islam, are finally waking up.
SALLAH: Our Imam in Yoruba land will tell us when we are to celebrate Sallah not Sultan awon terrorist.
ODUDUWA REPUBLIC NOW/BIAFRA NOW
