An attack on Isiu village, a part of Ikorodu, has reportedly left one person dead with many other people injured, after some suspected land grabbers raided it.
It was gathered from the village Chief that the attack is one of many in recent times since he was made king in August of 2020.
The Chief, Oba Olukayode Raji noted that the miscreants always attack at night.
“The hoodlums shot sporadically to disperse and scare residents who were going about their lawful duties.
He pleaded with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to set up a police command in the area to help fight insecurity.
“I am calling on the police IG and CP Lagos State to help restore peace and safe my community from the hands of hoodlums and landgrabbers,” the Oba said.
When they attack, aside killing, they also often rape women, steal phones and make away with motorcycles.
