Erstwhile presidential aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has alleged that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Kenya and extradited to Nigeria.
There’s has been wide speculations as to where the firebrand IPOB leader was captured and returned to country, as the Nigerian government has decided to keep mute in that respect.
In a press conference earlier today, the Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami SAN remained coy over the place of his arrest and did not field questions from journalists present after a brief and hurriedly arranged press conference.
Citing a reliable British intelligence source in a tweet today, Reno Omokri also alleged that the British Government considers the arrest illegal.
I just spoke with a top UK government source. Nnamdi Kanu was NOT arrested or extradited by the British. According to this official, Kanu was “almost definitely arrested in KENYA” and “it was an illegal detention”. I won’t reveal my source, but I have him on record #TableShaker
