The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday boarded a Lagos State Water Authority ferry boat to Port Novo to take on Benin National Football Team.
The Nigerian delegation was led by German Head Coach, Gernot Rohr after they were hosted by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The Governor charged the players to bring home all three points.
Nigeria sit top of their African Cup of Nations group with 7 points, four ahead of the chasing pack. A win in Porto Novo on Saturday evening will mean they are group winners and eligible to be at the AFCON.
This was the first time the Super Eagles boarded a boat to an international game, since 1949 when they travelled to England to play the English.
