Lagos State was Headed for the Wrong Direction Under Ambode- Tinubu

Bola Tinubu, Lagos State’s quintessential political leader has criticized former Governor of Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode, citing some reasons why he was in office for only one term.

Tinubu was speaking on Friday, at the inauguration ceremony of the Agege Pen Cinema Bridge, when he said this.

Tinubu, also referred to his supporters as Jagaban, maintained that Lagos State under, Babatunde Fashola’s successor, was “heading in the wrong direction” and therefore needed steadying.

He added that political leaders in the State unanimously agreed that Ambode, who started the Pen Cinema Bridge he was in Agege to open, should no longer continue.

He commended Ambode’s successor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his cabinet for the giant strides they have so far taken to reposition the state.
