On Thursday, Air Peace announced their acquisition of a brand new 124-seat capacity airplane.
According to information made available on their Twitter handle, the airline said it is the first new E195-E2 plane in Africa.
The tweet read: “Yesterday, January 28, 2021, Air Peace made history as we took delivery of the first brand new E195-E2 aircraft in Africa. It’s a 124-seat capacity jet which offers superior travel experience. It’s one of the 13 E2s we signed a firm order for in 2019. More E2s are on the way.”
The cockpit of the new E195-E2 has big screens, with minimal physical buttons, similar to what is common of modern-day dashboards in cars and planes.
Air Peace is a private Nigerian airline founded in 2013 with its head office in Lagos State, Nigeria. Air Peace, which provides passenger and charter services, serves the major cities of Nigeria and flies to several West African destinations and the Middle East.
It is owned by Allen Onyenma, a Nigerian lawyer and businessman.
