Social media giant, Instagram has deleted the account of James Brown, after the popular cross dresser released a video where he said Bobrisky called him to accuse him of copying his content.
Brown whose real name is Obialor James said, Bobrisky threatened to kill him.
Brown went on to say that he cross dresses only on Instagram for fun, but offline or in real life, he dresses as a man.
Brown who came to fame in 2018, added that “Uncle Bob” don’t see me as a threat.
He said, “I was shocked, I was not expecting it (the threat). Bobrisky actually called and threatened me. He just kept shouting. He said I should stop posting my content or he would send me to prison. He said he was the one that gave me N100, 000 when I needed help and he would make sure they beat me up in Lagos State. Before now, he had blocked me some months ago but I had no issues with it and I had apologised to him. But now, he has made it clear that we are enemies and I have to watch my back.”
Brown also stated that he doesn’t like being compared to Bobrisky, but prefers American cross dresser James Charles.
On his part, Bobrisky whose real name is Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, denied reporting his fellow cross dresser to Instagram.
He went on to deny that he has never reported anyone ever since he joined Instagram.
In an earlier interview, Brown maintained that contrary to what people say, he is not gay. Police have at some point arrested him as a suspect in relation with homosexual behaviour.
Brown, who said he discovered he had HIV at 12, added that he was into cross dressing for the fun and the money and that someday he hopes to marry a woman.
“Regardless of what I am doing, I would always be a man and eventually get married to a woman. I have always had an effeminate character. The first time I dressed like a girl was when I was five years old, and it was for a cultural presentation. I cannot steal engage in Internet fraud (yahoo yahoo), or prostitution. I can only make people laugh. I am a man and this is only an adventure that would end some day.”
TV host, Denrele Edun was the first person that started cross dressing in Nigeria.
