Uganda is set to hold their presidential and parliamentary elections on Thursday, 12 January.
76-year-old Yoweri Museveni has been in power since 1985, after he helped topple Idi Amin and Milton Obote in the 1980s.
Many have come to see Museveni as authoritarian, even though in the 90’s, he was perceived by the West as a bright spark in African politics.
Today, economic and social conditions in Uganda have continued to get worse, even as he has refused to leave office. This is where Bobi Wine steps in.
