In the early hours of Sunday, the Nigeria Immigration Service Headquarters went up in flames, it was gathered.
This was made known by the Immigration Service itself, after they posted it on their official Twitter handle.
According to the post, the fire whose cause is yet to be ascertained, has already been extinguished by the Federal Fire Service.
The post also added that some offices were affected by the fire.
NIS said, “A fire incident occurred in our Service Headquarters this Morning. It affected some of our Offices.”
“The fire has been put out by our Federal Fire Station & support from other agencies around the Airport. The cause of the fire is being investigated. We assure the public that the incident will not in any way affect the discharge of our services.”
