Emmanuel Bako, the Chairman of Kaduna State Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), his wife Cindy, and one other person have been kidnapped by some unknown gunmen.
The abduction took place on, Christmas Day, Friday, when the gunmen raided the residence of the cleric in Albarka camp, Fadan Kagoma, near Kafanchan in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, and made away with the couple together with one other person.

A combination of photos of a car hit by a bullet before some gunmen kidnapped the PFN Chairman in Kaduna, Apostle Emmanuel Bako, his wife and one other person on Christmas Day.
“They were kidnapped yesterday, 8 pm in the evening alongside his wife Cindy Bako and one other person, Douglas,” Mohammed Jalige, who is the Public Relations Officer of the State, said.
Jalige said efforts were underway to rescue the couple.
“The hoodlums met them at prayer camp, somewhere in the bush; they went for prayers. They were not the only people in that place, at the prayer camp. They were a lot of people. So with quick intervention of the police the other people were rescued back to Kafanchan.”
“It was only the three people that were kidnapped and we are seriously on it trying to see how to rescue the kidnap victims unhurt and possibly to arrest the perpetrators of the crime.”
On his part, the PFN Chairman of Cross River State, Lawrence Ekwok, said in order not to incur the wrath of God, the cleric and his wife must be rescued unscathed.
