The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has suspended its 9 months industrial action.
The Union’s president, Prof. Abiodun Ogunyemi disclosed this on Wednesday morning after a brief meeting with the EXCO of the Union.
Switch Nigeria had reported that the Minister of Labour, Mr. Chris Ngige said in Anambra that the strike would be over in January.
Professor Ogunyemi, however said that the Union wouldn’t hesitate to embark on another strike if the Federal Government fails to keep to their own end of the agreement.
