EFCC Returns Recovered Hospital Equipment to Sokoto SDG, Jangebe Village

The hospital equipment recovered in November 2019 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, have yesterday been handed over to Zayyanu Muhammad, the Desk Officer, Sustainable Development Goals SDG, Ministry of Local Government, Sokoto State for onward installation at the newly completed Community Health Services Centre in Jangebe Village, Bado/Danhela Council Ward of Bodinga Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

DCDS Bawa Usman Kaltungo, the Zonal Head of the EFCC, handed over the equipment on behalf of the Commission. He said it was a milestone in the fight against corruption and appealed to the citizens to always support the Commission by providing important information that can help in the fight against financial crimes and corruption. He said to EFCC, information is very critical.

During his speech, Mallam Muhammad, the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Sustainable Development Goals’ Desk Officer, said that the equipment will be delivered to the community, and lauded the Commission for its achievements in the Zone.

The equipment recovered consist of 2011 MDGs equipment such as 10 beds and their accessories; 10 mattresses, one manual microscope, one manual steriliser, one manual suction machine, and many others.
