Reports emanating from Argentina have confirmed that football legend, Diego Maradona has died.
The former Napoli and Barcelona striker, 60, it was said, suffered a brief cardiorespiratory failure on Wednesday morning in Tigre.
According to Argentine newspapers, Clarin and Ole, ambulances were seen around the premises of his home earlier on Wednesday.
The World Cup winner just recently had a surgery to remove a blood clot on his brain after he slumped and fell.
A cardiorespiratory attack means that Maradona stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated.
