Lekki Tollgate Massacre: Nigerian Army Denies Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry Access to Morgue, Demand Identification[VIDEO]

On Friday, the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry showed up at the Military Hospital, Ikoyi, as part of investigative measures into the recent massacre of protesters at the Lekki Tollgate.

However, the team received a stiff reception at the entrance, as Nigerian Military personnel stopped them at the gate, demanding for identification.

The visit was to ascertain whether the remains of the deceased were dumped at the hospital.

In the 1 minute, 30 seconds long video clip, the officer in charge, with the name tag, Haruna O., ordered the team to exit the hospital premises, after which he asked them for a “black and white” means of identification that he could tender to his superior officers.

The Judicial Panels of Inquiry were set up by the 36 States, at the command of the Federal Government, as part of measures to resolve the #EndSARS protests that were held across the country some werks back.

President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, gave the order.
