The Federal Government is set to commence the distribution of electricity prepaid meters to Nigerians today, Friday 30th October.According to an anonymous source, the exercise is set to be first inaugurated in Kano, Eko, Ikeja and Kaduna electricity distribution companies’ franchise areas.The exercise, the source claimed, is a fulfillment of one of President Muhammadu Buhari’s agenda of increasing the mass numbering in the country and thereby clamping down on estimated billing.He further said that the collection points include: Bawo Road and environs in Kano metropolis (KEDCO); Governor Road/Tudun Wada in Kaduna (Kaduna Electric); Oshodi Business Unit in Ikeja (Ikeja Electric); and Yaba and Surulere (Eko Disco).
