60th Independence Anniversary: Buhari to Address Nigerians at Eagle Square

President Mohammadu Buhari will on Thursday, October 1st, make a live broadcast to Nigerians at the Eagle Square , as part of activities marking the 60th Independence Day Celebration.

This was contained in a press statement released on Wednesday, by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina.

According to Adesina, the president’s address will commence at 10am, and will be broadcast by many reputable radio and television stations, including Nigerian Televisokn Authority (NTA) as well as the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

The statement explained further that, since the address will be made live at the Eagle Square, the traditional morning broadcast will not hold again on Thursday.
