Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state and his counterparts from Rivers and Sokoto States, Nyesom Wike and Aminu Tambuwal are in Benin, the Edo state capital on a solidarity visit to Governor Godwin Obaseki.
The governors, who arrived the Benin airport Tuesday afternoon from Port Harcourt, are visiting after the victory of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the Edo Governorship election.
The three governors were instrumental to the success of PDP in the state and therefore, returned to appreciate Edo people for believing in the PDP and Obaseki.
The visit is also to bring the good wishes of the PDP National Working Committee to the good people of Edo.
Wike served as Chairman of the National campaign council while Fintiri was the Vice chairman.
They are billed to meet Obaseki and other stakeholders in the Edo project.
