Breaking News: Ceballos Rejoins Arsenal on a Year-Long Loan Deal

Daniel Ceballos, Spain National Team midfielder and Real Madrid’s youngster has rejoined Arsenal Football Club after Real Madrid gave in to the player’s desire to continue playing for the North London club. The 24-year-old enjoyed his loan time at the club last season, playing 37 times and contributing greatly to the club’s 14th FA Cup triumph. The deal to have him at the club on loan for another year was brokered after Real appeared to be reluctant to let Arsenal sign the skilful player on a permanent basis.

Dani showed so much passion for the team and was committed in most of his appearances for the club. He had instant connection with both players and fans and his tenacious commitment to possessive, pressing football endeared him to the coaching staff too.

The Technical Director, Edu Gasper had this to say about Dani: “We’re thrilled to have Dani back with us for the new season. We all know his qualities after an impressive 2019/2020 campaign, which ended with him playing a key role in our FA Cup success. We’re excited to add Dani to the list of quality players we are bringing in.”

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s head coach and Manager, said “Dani was an integral part of our team last season and finished the season in excellent form. I love Dani’s passion and commitment and he’s a highly skilful player. We’re all delighted to welcome him back and we look forward to seeing him pick up where he left off.”

Ceballos is not only skilful, he is tough and does not shy away from tackles and pressing for a block or interception against opponents.

Recall that Switch Nigeria had on the 25th of June reported that Arsenal were attempting to tie down the services of both Dani Ceballos and David Luiz, along with several other players.

Ceballos will continue to wear the number 8 jersey, which he had worn last season.
